What We Do Not Accept

Acquire AOX is selective. We decline more opportunities than we pursue. Below are asset categories and circumstances we do not accept, to save you and us time.

No Clear Ownership

Assets where no one can demonstrate authority to sell, assign, or transfer. We cannot work with stolen, disputed, or unverifiable ownership.

Environmentally Hazardous

Assets with known environmental contamination requiring remediation that exceeds asset value, unless a qualified buyer path exists.

Active Criminal Investigations

Assets that are evidence in an active criminal matter or subject to criminal forfeiture proceedings where transfer is prohibited.

Sanctioned Parties

Assets owned or controlled by individuals or entities on OFAC or other sanctions lists. We screen all counterparties.

Fraudulent Conveyance Risk

Transfers designed to hinder, delay, or defraud creditors. We will not participate in or facilitate fraudulent conveyance.

No Viable Exit Path

Assets where, after thorough review, no buyer, assignee, or resolution path can be identified. We will not accept an asset we cannot resolve — we would rather decline honestly than waste your time.

Our Review Standard

Every asset submission is reviewed on its individual merits. Even if an asset falls into a category we typically decline, we may review it if the circumstances warrant. When in doubt, submit the asset — we will give you an honest answer. The worst outcome is we say no, and you will know you explored the option.

Have an Asset That Does Not Fit a Normal Sale?

If the asset has possible value and the owner needs a clean exit, submit it for review. We will evaluate the opportunity and tell you honestly whether we can help.
