Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about what Acquire AOX does, how we operate, and what to expect when you submit an asset or refer an opportunity.

What is Acquire AOX?

Acquire AOX (Asset Opportunity Exchange) is a private asset review, acquisition, recovery, and disposition desk operated by Acquire, Inc. We evaluate stuck, stranded, distressed, inherited, inactive, abandoned, complicated, and unwanted assets — and determine the cleanest path forward. Sometimes that means we buy. Sometimes we structure a transaction. Sometimes we place the asset with a qualified buyer. Sometimes we refer it. And sometimes we decline — honestly.

Is Acquire AOX a broker?

No. Acquire AOX is not a real estate broker, business broker, or securities broker-dealer. We do not list or market assets for sale. We evaluate opportunities directly and determine whether to acquire, structure, refer, recover, or place them — none of which is brokerage activity.

Does Acquire AOX buy assets directly?

Yes, in many cases. When the asset fits our criteria — clear authority, transferability, documented value, manageable risk, and a viable exit path — we may purchase it directly. We may also structure a transaction, assign the asset to a qualified buyer, or recover funds on behalf of the owner. The path depends on the asset.

Does Acquire AOX work with attorneys?

Yes. Attorneys are among our most important referral partners. Probate, bankruptcy, business, real estate, litigation, and estate planning attorneys regularly encounter assets that need a practical operator. We review the asset, coordinate with counsel where needed, and determine the path — without pretending to be a law firm.

Does Acquire AOX help with excess proceeds?

Yes. When funds remain after a foreclosure, tax sale, or other disposition, we review the situation to determine whether there is a lawful path to claim those proceeds. This typically requires coordination with the proper parties and documentation of ownership or entitlement.

Does Acquire AOX work with defunct businesses?

Yes. This is one of our core asset categories. We review dissolved LLCs, inactive corporations, and closed businesses to identify remaining value — equipment, inventory, receivables, vendor credits, domain names, trademarks, customer lists, and more. We confirm authority, evaluate transferability, and determine the viable path.

Does Acquire AOX buy inventory?

Yes. Warehouse inventory, overstock, liquidation packages, and idle goods are all asset types we review. We evaluate the inventory, determine market value, and either purchase directly or place it with a qualified buyer from our network.

Does Acquire AOX buy digital assets?

Yes. Domains, websites, media libraries, email lists, social media accounts, course libraries, and other digital properties are reviewable asset types. We evaluate the asset, confirm transferability, and determine the appropriate buyer path.

What documents are needed to submit an asset?

It depends on the asset type, but commonly: proof of ownership (deed, bill of sale, stock certificate, assignment), entity documents (articles of organization, operating agreement), financial records, lien records, and any relevant contracts or court documents. We do not expect every document on day one — we will tell you what we need and why.

How fast can Acquire AOX review an asset?

Initial review typically takes 5–10 business days. Complex situations involving entity reinstatement, probate, bankruptcy, litigation, or multiple lienholders may take longer. We will tell you the expected timeline after the initial review.

Does Acquire AOX guarantee recovery or purchase?

No. We do not guarantee any specific outcome. Every asset is reviewed on its own facts. We may buy, structure, place, refer, or decline. If we decline, we will explain why — and often suggest an alternative direction.

Does Acquire AOX charge upfront fees?

No. We do not charge fees to submit an asset for review. Our model is based on acquiring, structuring, or placing the asset — not on charging submission or evaluation fees.

Can I refer a client?

Yes. Attorneys, CPAs, lenders, brokers, trustees, receivers, and other professionals can refer asset situations through our Professional Referral Desk. We review the opportunity and coordinate with the referring professional as appropriate. We never solicit your client and we respect the professional relationship.

Can I join the buyer network?

Yes. Qualified buyers — individuals, funds, operating companies, and acquisition groups — can apply through our Buyer Circle. We qualify buyers by asset class, geography, financial capacity, and closing ability. NDA and non-circumvention agreements are required.

What assets does Acquire AOX avoid?

We decline assets with no documented authority, negative net recoverable value, environmental contamination exceeding asset value, active criminal involvement, OFAC-sanctioned counterparties, fraudulent conveyance risk, or no viable exit path. We also decline assets involving illegal activity, money laundering, or proceeds of crime.
