Acquire Judgment Recovery Desk

Won a Judgment But Never Collected?

A court judgment is not the same as collected money. If your judgment is still unpaid, Acquire Judgment Recovery Desk may review the file and determine whether it can be purchased, assigned, referred, packaged, or recovered through proper legal channels.

We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We do not guarantee recovery. Every file is reviewed for enforceability, ownership, documentation, and collectability before any offer or referral.

Most Judgment Creditors Never Collect a Dime

Here is a hard truth most people learn too late: winning in court and collecting money are two completely different things. A judgment is a piece of paper — a court order that says someone owes you money. It is not a check. It is not a wire transfer. It does not magically turn into cash.

They don't know how to locate debtor assets.
They don't know if the judgment is still enforceable.
They don't know if it was recorded correctly.
They don't know how to renew or domesticate it.
They don't want to spend more on attorney fees.
The judgment may still have value if handled correctly.

That is where we come in. We review the judgment like an asset — not like a piece of paper. We determine whether there is a real recovery path before anyone spends more time or money chasing something that cannot be collected.

We Review the Judgment Like an Asset, Not Like a Piece of Paper

Most people look at a judgment and see the dollar amount on the first page. We look at the entire file — the debtor, the assets, the clock, the liens, the risks, and the legal path required to turn the judgment into recovered money.

Debtor identity and location
Debtor asset profile — real estate, business ownership, employment
Judgment age and enforceability period
Lien status — was it recorded, docketed, or abstracted?
Bankruptcy risk — has the debtor filed?
Prior collection history — what has already been tried?
Renewal and revival options
Assignment potential — can the judgment be legally transferred?
Settlement potential — is there a realistic settlement range?
Legal recovery path — what is required to enforce?

These categories may involve consumer protection laws, special licensing requirements, family law restrictions, or practical collectability issues that make them unsuitable for our review desk. We will tell you honestly if your file falls into one of these categories.

Four Possible Outcomes

Every judgment we review receives one of four responses. No games. No bait and switch. Just an honest, documented review of what is possible.

We May Offer to Purchase the Judgment

If the judgment is enforceable, properly documented, and backed by a collectible debtor, we may make a purchase offer. You receive payment and we assume the recovery risk and work.

We May Accept an Assignment and Work Through Legal Recovery Channels

In some cases, an assignment structure makes more sense. We work with qualified attorneys and recovery professionals to pursue collection on the assigned judgment.

We May Refer the File to a Licensed Attorney or Recovery Partner

If the judgment requires legal action, domestication, or court proceedings in a jurisdiction where we do not operate directly, we may refer you to a qualified professional.

We May Tell You the File Is Not Practical to Pursue

If the debtor has no assets, the judgment has expired, bankruptcy discharged the debt, or the cost of recovery exceeds any realistic recovery amount, we will tell you honestly.

Who We Work With

Judgment creditors come from every corner of the economy. If you hold an unpaid judgment, we want to hear from you.

Individuals Who Won but Never Collected

You won the case. The court said they owe you. But the money never came. We review civil money judgments to determine if there is a practical recovery path.

Business Owners

Unpaid business judgments, B2B judgments, vendor judgments, and contract dispute judgments that have been sitting on your books may still have recoverable value.

Contractors

Roofers, HVAC companies, electricians, plumbers, GCs, and subcontractors who obtained judgments for unpaid work — those judgments may be recoverable if the debtor owns property or operates a business.

Landlords & Real Estate Investors

Unpaid rent judgments, property damage judgments, commercial lease judgments, and recorded judgment liens affecting real property.

Attorneys

Dormant judgment files where clients have stopped pursuing collection. We review files with proper authorization and respect for attorney-client relationships.

CPAs, Bookkeepers & Referral Partners

Professionals who see unpaid judgments on client balance sheets. We offer a confidential referral process with proper compliance safeguards.

We Would Rather Tell You the Truth Than Give You False Hope

Some judgments are valuable. Some are worthless. The difference is not the judgment amount. The difference is whether the debtor is collectible and the judgment can still be legally enforced.

We have seen $5,000 judgments backed by a debtor who owns real estate and operates a business — highly collectible. And we have seen $500,000 judgments against debtors who are judgment-proof, bankrupt, or long gone — worth zero.

Our commitment is to give you an honest, documented assessment. If there is a recovery path, we will tell you what it looks like. If there is not, we will tell you that too. No one benefits from chasing money that cannot be collected.

Important Compliance Notice

Acquire Judgment Recovery Desk is a division of Acquire, Inc. and operates as part of AOX — Asset Opportunity Exchange.

We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We do not guarantee recovery, payment, or that any judgment is enforceable.

We do not act as a collection agency unless properly licensed or authorized where required. All files are subject to legal, documentation, ownership, bankruptcy, enforceability, statute-of-limitations, and collectability review.

Some matters may require referral to licensed attorneys, collection agencies, or court-authorized recovery professionals. Consumer debt, medical debt, payday loans, student loans, family court matters, criminal restitution, and bankruptcy-related debts require special legal review and may be declined.

Nothing on this page or in our communications constitutes legal advice, a guarantee of recovery, or an offer to purchase any specific judgment. Each file is reviewed individually.
